this is developers club, mit bengaluru.
the place on campus where people build cool stuff.
what is this?
most college clubs are about attending. you sit, you listen, you leave.
we're not that.
you show up with an idea, or nothing. you pick something. you build it on your nights and weekends next to other people doing the same. then you put it on a url and show it off.
no syllabus. no attendance. no certificate.
just a room, a deadline you set yourself, and people who care.

- you've done 40 tutorials and built 0 things
- you're first year and terrified. great. come.
- you're final year and bored. also great. come.
- you're not from cse. even better. we need designers, writers, mech folks, people who can talk.

- you want a certificate for your resume
- you want someone to tell you exactly what to do
- you want to “learn first, build later.” nope. build first.

do i need to know how to code?
no. you need to want to make something. plenty of people here ship no-code, hardware, design, or content projects. you'll learn the code part by needing it.
is this only for cse / it?
no. open to every branch and every year at mit bengaluru. some of the best projects come from people who aren't “supposed” to be building.
how much does it cost?
nothing. bring your laptop and your nights.
what if i don't have an idea?
perfect. most people don't. we'll help you find a problem you actually have and build a toy around it. a toy is the tangible form of your early idea.
can i build with a team?
yes, 1 to 3 people. solo is fine too. we'll help you find teammates.
is this affiliated with gdsc / codex / other clubs?
we're friends with everyone. this is just the place you go when you want to ship, not attend. [edit this if devclub sits under the student council or a department.]
